Time suboptimal formation flying manoeuvres through improved magnetic charged system search

The development of fast and reliable optimization algorithms is required in order to obtain real-time optimal trajectory on-board spacecraft. In addition, the wide spread small satellites, due their low costs, leading a greater number satellite formations space. This paper presents an Improved version Magnetic Charged System Search (IMCSS) metaheuristic algorithm compute time-suboptimal manoeuvres for formation flying. proposed exploits some strategies aimed at improving convergence optimum, such as chaotic local search boundary handling technique, it able self-tune its internal parameters coefficients. Moreover, inverse dynamics technique differential flatness approach, through B-splines curves, are used approximate trajectory. procedure applied circular J2 relative model developed by Schweighart Sedwick elliptical motion Yamanaka Ankersen. results this show that better achieved using tools, thus proving efficiency reliability solving space engineering problems.
